I’ve got to love Pipa Bellafor sending me a little surprise and putting me up to a challenge. A challenge that got my room looking like a hurricane swept in- I was trying out different looks for this post! Pipa Bella sent me their Mint on the Rocks necklace which is a two strand necklace, with beads played up in ombre with hints of gold. The cool colour is perfect to add a little freshness to an ensemble.  What was the challenge? To style this gorgeous number in two different styles- Pipa and Bella.

Bella being classic and demure, I chose to style this necklace with a look  that makes me feel feminine and reserved. Playing with subtle colours and minimal makeup, Bella is about making a statement without being too loud. I know, I know- you must be thinking mint on mint? I love pairing up monochromes together and feel it’s a smart choice when you’re not in for a colour blocked look. The sheer blouse and pastel jeans with my favourite pumps made me feel every bit a lady in this look.

With Pipa, I wanted to go a little experimental and give myself a carefree look- A denim jacket over a lace dress with mint leggings. I like how the structured denim jacket layers up on the feminine lace with a touch of cool mint.  I added on my sequin ballerinas to bring in some sparkle to this look.

I’m not sure which look I liked wearing better- The Pipa or Bella? I guess on a day to day basis I dress between these looks depending on how I feel- carefree or out to make a statement. Which one do you like more?
